Grant Aaron Wirthlin arrived early Sunday morning at 6:14 am 10 days early. After a very long labor- mom and dad were so happy to finally see him! He weighed in at 7lbs 6 ounces and 19 1/2 inches. He is so adorable and I can hardly take my eyes off him for a moment. We are still adjusting to being parents and we will write more about the birth story soon. Enjoy these pics for now!
It was John's 26th bday last week! We had a little celebration- cake and a nice dinner! He is in the middle of law school finals and almost finished- one more to go! I am so proud of all his hard work and dedication. He deserves a nice long break this holiday- hopefully that will work out too :)
Some nice girls in my ward hosted a baby shower for me. We had a great time! The games were fun and the decorations were themed after the Gators! I loved it!
From the front I don't look too pregnant- just FAT!
Gotta love being pregnant! The countdown is still going. I will be 36 weeks tomorrow- only 1 month to go- maybe :) The guessing is officially on- when will this little guy decide he is ready to come out? Kind of like predicting a mission call- ya just never know!
Raleigh, John , and Brian sure were missing Ben and Kempton this Thanksgiving... not enough boys to play ball with. Also, the weather wasn't that great- so maybe next year we will all be
We had a great time at Mimi and Papa's for Thanksgiving. Mom and I worked hard all morning to pull off a yummy dinner! It was pretty low key and we all just hung out after.
Here are the two little guys hanging out in our big bellies :)
We had a great time with Becca and Paul and their adorable kiddies at Animal Kingdom! It was a little crowded, but the park was a lot of fun. It was great for me to get out and walk! We love to have the Wirthlin's come visit. We hope more will come to sunny Florida...
Well, no crib yet- but we do have a bassinet. I think it is really cute. I love the blue gingham and I made the blanket to match. Who knows if I will actually use it though. We'll see. 7 weeks to go- it is hard to believe!
Not your typical wooden baby rocker. But one thing I have realized during this pregnancy is that comfort goes a long way. Thanks Mom and Dad for adding comfort to my very uncomfortable life right now.
Here is the latest addition to the Wirthlin clan. Jonathon Samuel Huntsman was born this week and he is so adorable! He looks like a Wirthlin baby and we can't wait to meet him soon :)
Tonight was a very good night. Kentucky beat LSU in triple overtime! It was a great game! Next weekend will be a big game for the Gators in Kentucky. I think we can definitly beat them!
29 weeks and counting...here are some cheesy pregnancy pics. I have finally broken down and posted a few. I am adjusting to all the weight gain and fun things that accompany pregnancy. It is really starting to feel "real". We are enjoying our last few months of free time and leisure bf our family becomes 3!
Saturday night was a big let down for all the Gators in Gainesville. I am just glad that John and I didn't waste any $$$$ to try to get tickets to the big game. We were overly confident that it was going to be a big blowout against Auburn, especially since this was the one team that beat us last year. We were pretty pumped the whole day for the game and the city was packed with tons of fans from both sides. Everyone knows how it turned out..... badly for the Gators. I guess everyone has a bad day- but this was a little worse than that. Auburn brought their A Game to the Swamp and we just couldn't match it. I blame it on the full moon- weird things happen :) Of course John just thinks that's crazy... Well Sunday rolled around and it just didn't feel the same. Now we have something big to prove- the Gators better get their act together for this weekend's game, so LSU doesn't demolish us. I am all about the underdog...the Gators have to beat the Tigers at HOME this weekend! We'll see...
This is our Gainesville townhouse- 2 bed/2.5 bath. We are enjoying the space, even though the neighborhood is not the best. We are 1 mile from the law school which is great for John and school. I can zip over and take him lunch most afternoons. John is at school 90% of the time and I am working on random projects before Bubba gets here. We both stay pretty busy- especially Johnny!
Little Ally Arceneaux arrived in July and she is the 59th grandchild on the Wirthlin side. She is soooo cute and cuddly. John is already practicing his daddy moves :)
